Ozone generally has two ozone preparation methods when disinfecting swimming pool ozone generator
 
There are two ozone preparation methods for ozone disinfection of swimming pool ozone generators: ultraviolet radiation method and corona discharge method.
 
UV sterilizers are used for smaller water volumes and are suitable for small swimming pools such as jacuzzi. Relatively simple and economical, but the concentration is low, not more than 0.1%; generally only a few grams / hour, the efficiency is low. Corona discharge method Ozone generators have high efficiency, ozone concentration and output, and large-scale swimming pools should use such ozone generators.
 
UV swimming pool ozone generator
 
Most ozone generators installed in small swimming pools and baths in residential areas use ozone light to generate ozone. Ultraviolet light is an electromagnetic wave with a wavelength between 100 and 380 nm. The sterilization band is mainly between 200 and 280 nm. In particular, the ultraviolet sterilizing ability of the wavelength of 253.7 nm is the strongest. When ultraviolet rays are irradiated to microorganisms, energy transfer and accumulation occur. Accumulation results in the inactivation of microorganisms, thereby achieving the purpose of disinfection.
 
When enough ultraviolet energy is applied to the oxygen molecules, the oxygen molecules split into two free single atoms that collide with other oxygen molecules to produce ozone molecules. The yield of each ozone generator is determined by several factors: the energy and wavelength of the ultraviolet light, the space around the ultraviolet lamp, the temperature, the humidity, and the oxygen content in the air and the volume of the air flow through the generator. If the structure of a given system remains relatively stable, the primary factor affecting the ozone concentration is the air flow rate.
 
Corona discharge pool ozone generator
 
Dry oxygen or air passes through the discharge gap. Under high-energy electromagnetic fields, oxygen is ionized into oxygen atoms, and oxygen atoms collide with oxygen molecules to form ozone. The yield is directly related to the concentration of oxygen, gas dryness, power frequency, thickness of dielectric material, dielectric constant, and the like. The ozone generation efficiency is proportional to the dryness of the gas and is proportional to the oxygen concentration in the gas (the ozone yield is highest at an oxygen concentration of 92%), proportional to the power supply frequency, inversely proportional to the discharge gap, and the dielectric layer. The thickness is inversely proportional.
 
The pool ozone generator is currently the most widely used, relatively low energy consumption, the largest single ozone production, and the highest market share. The device for generating ozone by corona discharge method is four parts: high-voltage electrode, ground electrode, dielectric body and discharge gap. The high-concentration ozone generating device is also equipped with technologies such as cooling and gas source pretreatment.
